Why don't we go to see SAKURA and not to think of "jishuku" too much!?

Today, we went to "Hanami" (cherry blossom viewing) at a park in our neighbourhood. Cherry blossoms were gorgeous. It's the best moment in my area to see them.

Have you heard of a Japanese term "jishuku"? This term means "self control". Recently, some people are saying that it is not good to have a good time at Hanami party, because people in Tohoku are still suffering from serious situation. Hence, these people are saying that we should think of "jishuku"and try NOT to have a good time too much.

However, I don't think it's a good idea to follow this "jishuku" mood too much. If we, who are able to have a relatively normal life right now, do not spend enough money, eventually economic condition of Japan becomes worse and then money which should be able to move to Tohoku wouldn't be made. In my opinion we should spend the life in a normal way, as much as possible.

Cherry blossoms in Tohoku area will be beautiful in May. I do hope the situation there will be much better then, and people there can enjoy this beauty of nature.
